Los Angeles, CA – The 2008 ION International Film Festival has announced its Call for Submissions for all categories of entry.  Submission forms can be completed directly online through WithoutaBox at www.withoutabox.com.  The 2008 ION International Film Festival will be held in December 2008 with all screenings in Dubai.

Deadlines to submit U.S. and International Films for the 2008 ION International Film Festival are:
March 10, 2008 – Registration Begins
October 10, 2008 – Early Submission Deadline
November 10, 2008 – Final Deadline

The ION International Film Festival is open to the following categories of film:

  • Feature Film – Films in this category must be at least 50 minutes in length
  • Documentary Film – Films in this category must be at least 50 minutes in length.
  • Animation – All lengths are accepted
  • Short - Films in this category must be less than 50 minutes in length
  • Short Documentary - Films in this category must be less than 50 minutes in length
  • Music Videos
  • Movie Trailers

Each category will be eligible for an official selection screening and winners will be chosen from the official selection by a panel of jurors.  In addition, films that correspond with ION International Film Festival’s Humanitarian approach will also be eligible for the Humanitarian Award.
