ION International Film Festival Announces it will be held in Dubai, UAE in December 2008, More Countries to Follow

Los Angeles, CA – The 2008 5th Annual ION International Film Festival has announced its location for December 2008 will be held in Dubai, UAE.  ION International has chosen Dubai for its eclectic group of cultures and great degree of global diversity.  Dubai is also an ever expanding venue for advocacy of the arts in the Middle East.  ION International Film Festival hopes to provide a different international venue each year in order to provide filmmakers the opportunity to showcase their talents to a wide array of people.  This also coincides with ION International Film Festival’s pursuit of humanitarian films and the pursuit of courageous and philanthropic filmmakers. 

ION International Film Festival is expecting a possible line-up for the future countries to include Thailand in 2009 and Turkey in 2010.  It is with this transglobal line-up that ION International Film Festival aims to provide awareness in filmmaking.
