DPS Film Roman and the ION International Animation, Games and Short Film Festival came together to celebrate a very special 20th Anniversary. DPS Film Roman, animate the longest running award winning animated television show, THE SIMPSONS as well as KING OF THE HILL.
COO Scott Greenberg of DPS Film Roman accepted the award for Twenty Years of Excellence in Animation, presented to him by Maurice La Marche voice of "Inspector Gadget", "The Critic", "Tripping the Rift", "Pinky & the Brain", and dozens more beloved animated series, including "King of The Hill”.
Also featured was the first-ever Max Fleischer Lifetime Achievement Award, presented to Fleischer Studios, and in future years, presented to individuals who have made a monumental impact in the animation world. The award was presented to Stan Handman, former employee and established historian of Max Fleischer. Max Fleisher invented the Rotoscope and was known for creating "Betty Boop" & "Popeye". |
