SUMMITS POSTPONED TO THE SPRING
The ION Festival has decided to postpone its 3-day
Summit on the Convergence of animation, games and film.
Originally to take place this weekend during the film
festival, the Summit will now become its own separate
event in the spring of 2005.
With a number of activities taking place this weekend,
ION feels that it is best if festival-goers are not
split between the Festival and Summit, allowing them
to get the best experience of the talent and creativity
that ION's filmmakers have to offer.
As a stand-alone event, the Summit will be able to
fully address and explore the issues that face converging
art forms. Industry professionals and attendees will
have the dedicated time to discuss the changing state
of technology, and examine together the possibilities
of the dynamic potentials of this new state of media.
The rescheduled Summit date will be announced in the
new year.
All Summit ticketholders will
be refunded as well as given a free ticket to the next
ION Summit.
Please contact our office
for refunds, (310) 360-8333.
We apologize for
any confusion or inconvenience. |
